1. After finding your exact target point on the ground - mark the spot on the ground. And go to Mode 4. Also push the “DEPTH” button on the control unit and make sure that the “Depth light” on the main device is on.
2. Tilt the device face toward the ground for 8 seconds.
3. Lift the device upwards (90 degrees) to the horizontal position (with your back facing north and your face facing south) and wait about 30 seconds without sharp or unnecessary movements while standing still.
4. Start walking South. As soon as the device turns 180 degrees North - stop. Mark the point you are standing on the ground.
5. Turn off the device.
6. Measure the distance between the two points (the point of the target and the point where the device rotated 180 degrees).
7. The result of the measurement = the depth of the target.
